Paragliding in the Sacred Valley of the Incas - Cusco

Take off altitude Cerro Sacro Chinchero: 3.850 masl.
Minimum Group: 2 persons.
Difficulty Level: Easy. For any person who is able to walk without problems, doesn´t have heart issues, and weighs below 100kg.
Climate: Paragliding depends on climate to fly. If on your flying day there is no wind or appropriate conditions are not available, you can simply postpone your reservation, or we wait till weather gets nicer.
Who can fly? Anybody who is able to walk without difficulty, is in good health and does not suffer from heart-related issues can fly as a passenger. We have flown kids from 3 years of age till 75. You simply need motivation to fly.
Who will be my pilot? You will be flying with experienced pilots, who have been flying for many years. All our pilots are trained and certified by the Peruvian Free Flight Association (APVL) and accredit other international licenses.

Getting to know the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the surrounding mountains of Cusco is simply something you can´t miss on your visit.

The views you will be able to have from this privileged point of view are can be ancient Inca ruins, snow-capped mountains, beautiful lakes and breathtaking scenery.

Itinerary

ITINERARY:

This flying spot is located 45 km away from Cusco on the way to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This place is simply spectacular. The view on takeoff is a panoramic scope of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the surrounding agricultural areas of Chinchero, it´s the most beautiful view.

We will Departure from Cusco city at 08:30 am.

Flying as a passenger is very easy. All of our pilots are experienced instructors and operators and will give you very simple instructions before launch. You will put on a harness, helmet and once you are ready, you will be airborne after a short run. The first sensation you will have is freedom.

You will be flying like the birds do: outside of a cabin, without any engine noise.

WHAT DOES NEED TO BRING AND A FEW TIPS FOR YOUR FLIGHT:

Bring securely-fitting shoes, preferably hiking boots (heels, sandals or loose shoes not recommended).
Comfortable clothing (during winter bring a warm jacket).
We will not fly passengers under effects of alcohol.
Sun glasses and sun block.

IMPORTANT:

Your passport details are required for the Paragliding (Full Name and Passport Number). Please provide your passport details in the additional request box when booking. In the event you do not provide your passport details we reserve the right to not confirm your arrangements.
At 7:00pm the day before you will have a briefing with a guide about the tour to Machu Picchu in the lobby of your hotel (please provide hotel details).
In case you are not able to fly due to weather conditions, you will have to pay for ground transfer to the flying spot: USD 20 per passenger (the bigger the group, the lower the price).
